Amelie’s Homemade Hummus

Bonjour mon ami,

I always have homemade hummus in my fridge – it is an easy snack with some carrots, or on the side of my plate at lunch or dinner.

Hummus is a great source of protein and adds a delicious smooth texture to whatever you are eating.

Amélie’s Homemade Hummus

1 3/4 cup dried chickpeas
1 medium clove of garlic
1 lemon, (2-3T) juice of
1/3 cup tahini, good quality
3/4t fine sea salt
2T extra virgin olive oil
1/2t ground cumin
2T water

Step 1: Soak the dried chickpeas in water for at least 8hrs

Step 2: Add all the ingredients in a food processor and whizz until a nice, smooth consistency

Voila! You are done!
